John Savage letter to "Doc" [manuscript], no date.

Savage sends "Doc" a copy of the "Review" and asks him to say a word in his defence. He also notes that he might allude to the crack at "Redfield" (possibly J. S. Redfield who published Savage's "Lays of the Fatherland").
